Elder Abuse in Canada
Each year, about ten percent of Canadian Older Adults (65 years or older) are victims of crime. Up to one percent of Canadian seniors experience violent crimes or physical abuse. Almost five percent of older adults report experiencing some form of abuse from the age of 65 on. Topics includes types of elder abuse, signs of elder abuse and how you can help.

The National Initiative for Care of the Elderly (NICE) has developed a series of information tools derived from research studies that focus on understanding the challenges people face as they age. The research for these information tools is conducted manually, while their distribution utilizes AI-based technologies for generating audio and images.
